What mobile phone operators does the service work with?
Vodafone, T Mobile, Orange, O2, Tesco, Virgin, Asda, Talk-Talk are supported.
Is the service safe / secure?
In order to use the service to track a mobile phone you must first active it on that phone. After tracking has been setup on a phone occasional reminders will be sent to the phone in line with the Ofcom Code of practice.
Do you accept credit cards?

All major cards are accepted including Visa Credit Card, Visa Debt Card, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, Solo.

How much does the service cost, do I need to sign a contract?
We operate a PAYG (Pay As You Go) service starting at £16.99 for 20 tracks. Additionally when adding a new phone to the service there is a setup cost equal to 5 tracks.
Does the service work when the phone is turned off?
The mobile phone must be switched on and be within range of a cell tower in order for it to be trackable.
What kind of accuracy can I expect when locating a phone using the service?
The accuracy of the location is dependent on the phones current position. If there are a large number of cell towers such as in a heavily populated area, e.g. major city lookups can be as accurate as 100m.
What do I need?
The service operates entirely online meaning you do not need to download or install any software. All you need is a PC or Mac with a current web browser e.g. Internet Explorer 7 or 8, Safari or Mozilla Firefox. Note that you must have cookies enabled.
Is the mobile phone user alerted when a lookup takes place?
No, requesting a lookup does not result in any SMS or phone call being made to the handset being tracked. The only communications from the service to the handset being tracked are occasional reminders that the handset is signup to the service. These are sent by all providers of mobile phone tracking services.
Can you track mobiles outside of the UK?
Currently KS Mobile Locate provide a UK only service.
